With fantastic weather experienced year round on the Sunshine Coast camping can be a wonderful way to holiday. The Sunshine Coast has excellent campsites and caravan parks. Some of them are listed below.

Located in Russell Street, Noosaville is located on the river in a very central position with boat launching facilities and a beach.

Gagaju Bush Camp (07 5474 3522)
Offers a bush camp experience outside the town on the edge of the Noosa River, with cheap bunk beds . A free pick up and drop service is offered from Noosa.

John's Landing (07 5447 1806)
On the bank of the Noosa River. Lake Cooroibah is 2.5km downstream and Lake Cootharaba is 5km upstream. Pets are allowed but must be controlled.

Noosa North Shore Caravan Park (07 5447 1706)
Across the river in Noosa is Noosa North Shore Caravan Park reachable by car ferry from Tewantin.

Elanda Point Campsite (1800 226637)
Well positioned for the Everglades but 30 minutes drive from Noosa is Elanda Point Campsite which is a large campsite on the shores of Lake Cootharaba. Canoes and boats can be hired. This is about a 30 minute drive from Noosa.

Noosa Council runs a campsite at Boreen Point with camping along the shore of Lake Cootharaba.

Coolum Beach Caravan Park

The park is situated in a premier location on absolute beach frontage at Coolum Beach, next to the patrolled surf beach and surf club, adjacent to shops and restaurants.Prime tourist cabins with one or two bedrooms as well as caravan and camping sites provide accommodation. Large caravan sites are provided with a concrete slab and enough parking space for a vehicle. Almost two hundred sites come with power and there are also over 100 sites without power for tents which are close to the beach. It is only 15 minutes to shopping and cinemas and there are day tours to Fraser Island are available.
Activities: Go to the top of Mount Coolum which is the second largest monolith in Australia. Overall:A family beach camping holiday experience in a prime location with modern amenities.

Accommodation comes in the full range of luxury cabins of all sizes through to basic budget ones.
All caravan sites include concrete slabs, clean convenient locations, and power. Camping areas include sites around the lake, though tarpaulins cannot be erected. Powered and unpowered camping sites are available. Sites are grassed and shady.
There are wide-ranging facilities on offer and include: a swimming pool, with water play ground, nine-hole putt putt course and Half court tennis., BBQ's, are located around the park near the pool and lake. There is an outdoor movie theatre as well as a gym and fitness centre. A café and shop are onsite and a Courtesy Coach for shopping visits. Overall: Everything is here for the ideal camping holiday.

Alex Beach Cabins and Tourist Park

This Top Tourist Park is quietly situated with no road noise and only a stroll to the beach. It is close to Maroochydore or Mooloolaba, and only minutes drive from the scenic rainforests and rivers. A full range of villas and cabins are available in luxury through to basic configurations. Camping options include large sites with or without en-suites and all are powered. Features include: a good range including a heated swimming pool, children’s play room, BBQ and recreation and games room with a pool table, and pinball machine. An internet kiosk is onsite. The park has a tropical feel with palm trees for plenty of shade. There is just a short walk to the beach, cafes, supermarket and a good bakery. Overall: A clean, very well maintained park with something for everyone.
